About Vintage At'SEA

Introducing the new About Vintage 1926 At'SEA Automatic, designed by Actor Jonathan Harboe

What started in 2014, when childhood friends Sebastian Skov and Thomas Andersen decided to build a watch on their own, has resulted in a story of success including a collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Frederique Constant and two stores in Copenhagen. For their latest novelty the brand worked together with Danish actor Jonathan Harboe, who is a passionate watch collector and a great friend of the brand.

Their collaboration meant that Jonathan was in charge of designing the watch, inspired by the brand's first dive watch, whereas materials, colours and choice of straps were done by the brand - in close collaboration with Jonathan of course. Being highly experienced in the field of film, Jonathan was also in charge of producing the advertisement videos for the new watch.

The result of the collaboration can be seen in the images of this article, which is a strong vintage design inspired by the 1960 Cousteau underwater discoveries. The technology used inside the watch however, is state oft he art with a curved sapphire glass and an automatic movement with 42 hours of power reserve. A matte dial, the onion crown without crown protectors, the indexes and hands all highlight the vintage design of this piece.

Available in two case colours (steel and rose gold), the two steel models come with either a black or blue dial. All three models are limited to 999 pieces each and are shipped with three different straps. These are a rubber strap, a NATO strap and a mesh strap, giving you a great set of options right from the start of ownership.

The steel models are priced at 599 Euro (4499DKK) and the rose gold model is priced at 619 Euro (4699 DKK), with deliveries taking place end of May.

A part of the price payed for each watch will be donated to the environmental organisation The Ocean Cleanup, which aims to clean the ocean from plastic and other trash. This support is also a reminder to take care of the sea at which Copenhagen is located and also wants to raise awareness of The Ocean Cleanup's main goal - removing 90% of plastic pollution from the world seas.

Our 1926 At'SEA Automatic should remind people to care for the Earth every time they look down on their wrist to check the time. We are based out of Copenhagen, a city surrounded by water, and we enjoy our clean harbour baths every summer. That is unfortunately not something every country in the world can enjoy
