We did it again! In January we launched our first collaboration watch, the Frederique Constant Flyback Chronograph “DailyWatch”. A pure and precise watch with a white dial. Response from the market was very positive and the limited edition of 25 pieces was sold out quickly, so we decided to do another run!

DIAL

The charcoal black dial is elegant and still very pure. No distractions, just the essentials you need to tell time and run the flyback chronograph function. To put focus on the “Precision” component the hands related to the chronograph function are blue in color, contrasting with the other hands in black.

FLYBACK CHRONOGRAPH MOVEMENT: In-house production and clever engineering

The FC-760 chronograph calibre from Frederique Constant is simpler, smoother and more reliable than conventional flyback systems. The conventional flyback mechanism is based on a set of several column wheels that act as a system of clutches.

The FC-760 calibre that operates the Flyback Chronograph Manufacture dispenses with this complexity, replacing the standard column wheel with a star-shaped wheel. This results in a thinner movement with fewer parts and operations. All of this is developed in-house to ensure the best quality and performance.

Pressing the pusher at 4 o’clock declutches the chronograph’s movement and resets it. Once the pusher is released, the movement and the chronograph re-engage and the chronograph restarts.

No fewer than 6 years of development were required to attain this degree of sophistication. The flyback module accounts for just 96 of the entire movement’s 233 parts, making it one of the most efficient flyback modules in the world, as well as one of the most affordable, thanks to its ingenious, patented construction. The FC-760 calibre can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back and will attract the admirer of fine watches.

A SECOND RUN OF PURITY AND PRECISION

The journey for a pure and precise chronograph was started by Kristian Haagen and Nick Meijer in 2021. Through their podcast “DailyWatch Talks” and on their private Instagram accounts both watch enthusiasts started discussing the creation of a perfect Daily Chronograph. In collaboration with Frederique Constant a first run of 25 Flyback Chronographs “DailyWatch” were created and launched in January 2022.

The run was sold out in 48 hours, and the reception in the market was very positive. Based on this we decided to do another run of 25 pieces, and you can see the result here: A pure 42mm Flyback Chronograph with a Manufacture movement for a very attractive price of €3950.
