When a Swiss guy with roots in the watch industry moved Down Under he did not leave his horological mindset behind. Christophe Hoppe is that guy and his first observation in sunny Australia was that this was a continent without a proper high-quality watch brand. Since 2011 he is working hard to change that and put Australia on the horological world map. Bausele is the name of the brand, standing for Beyond Australian Elements and the philosophy of Christophe actually goes two ways: It puts Australia on the map of the international watch community while it uplifts the knowledge and awareness for horology in Australia.

The 2015 Baselworld introduction put the international spotlights on Bausele. In 2016 the brand was honored to collaborate with the world-famous Sidney Opera House and created a special watch. They started innovating on materials and their Terra Australis gained international recognition on the wrist of actor Dominic Purcell in Prison Break. The company’s growth saw it become the supplier of the Army Intelligence Corps and Special Forces and expand global distribution to include France, the USA and Japan while selling online to over 40 countries. And for a reason: the combination of colorful, extravert timepieces, high-quality movements and an attractive price works good, and a Bausele brings you in a positive mindset. A piece of Australian lifestyle on your wrist, Who doesn’t want that?

That brings us to 2023, and Bausele is an established player in the field of affordable, high-quality watches for people with an active lifestyle. High-quality Swiss watchmaking combined with the Australian way of life. At DailyWatch we are proud and happy to offer you Bausele. 4 different model lines, each watch is produced in limited batches and very good value for money. Exactly how founder Christophe envisioned when he started Bausele.
